About Lori D Raymond, ND

Lori D Raymond, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in Connecticut with nearly two decades of hands-on clinical experience. She brings a deeply integrative and personalized approach to care, drawing on her extensive background in physical medicine, acupuncture, and naturopathic consultation to support patients with chronic pain, hormonal concerns, stress-related conditions, and complex health challenges.

Dr Raymond began her healthcare career as a Licensed Massage Therapist after graduating from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2006. Over the course of more than 19 years of hands-on practice, she developed a strong clinical foundation in pain management, biomechanics, and nervous system regulation. This experience continues to inform her work today and is fully integrated into her scope of practice as a Naturopathic Physician.

She earned both her Associate’s degree from Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, Connecticut, and her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Eastern Connecticut State University. Dr Raymond later completed her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport in 2015. She also holds a certification from the New England School of Homeopathy, completed in 2016.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Raymond has a strong background in education. She served as faculty at multiple CCMT/Cortiva Institute campuses from 2010–2011 and again from 2015–2019, teaching science-based coursework including anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, and research. She also led board exam preparation workshops, supporting students as they transitioned into professional practice.

Clinically, Dr Raymond offers acupuncture, massage therapy, and naturopathic consultations. Her naturopathic consultations incorporate functional and specialty laboratory testing, nutrition and supplement guidance, lifestyle counselling, and a strong emphasis on nervous system health. Dr Raymond is known for her warm, friendly, and collaborative style. She prioritizes listening, education, and realistic care planning, working closely with patients to understand what will and will not work within the context of their lives.

She is licensed as a Naturopathic Physician in Connecticut (CT ND 546) and is a member of both the Florida Naturopathic Physicians Association (FNPA) and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).
