Why I Created This Practice & Who It’s Meant to Support

Many people come to healthcare after a long stretch of feeling unheard.

They’ve tried to explain their pain, their fatigue, their headaches, their hormonal shifts or persistent stress, only to be told that their labs are “normal,” that nothing is clearly wrong, or that they’ll simply have to live with it. Others feel rushed through appointments, unsure where to begin, or overwhelmed by advice that doesn’t quite fit their real lives.

This practice was created for those people.

I opened my independent practice to offer care that is thoughtful, collaborative, and rooted in respect for the whole person, not just a list of symptoms. It’s a space intentionally designed for unhurried conversations, careful listening, and treatment plans that take the nervous system, lived experience, and daily realities into account.

A different pace, by design

Over the years, both as a patient and a clinician, I’ve seen how easily healthcare can become rushed and fragmented. Appointments feel too short. Questions go unanswered. Treatment plans don’t always align with what someone can realistically sustain.

This practice exists to slow that process down.

Whether someone is coming in for acupuncture, massage therapy, or a naturopathic consultation, my goal is to create a setting where people feel safe enough to be honest about their symptoms, their stressors, their boundaries, and what they already know will or won’t work for them.

That collaborative relationship is not an extra. It’s foundational.

What I mean by integrative care

The care I offer draws from multiple disciplines, because bodies are not single-system problems.

My background includes nearly two decades of hands-on experience in massage therapy, alongside my work as a licensed Naturopathic Physician. In practice, that means care may include acupuncture, massage and movement-based therapies, or naturopathic consultation that incorporates laboratory testing, nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle support.

A central focus of my work is nervous system regulation. Chronic pain, hormonal imbalance, digestive issues, headaches, and fatigue are often deeply connected to how the nervous system is responding to stress. Supporting parasympathetic balance isn’t just a concept; it’s a practical and necessary part of healing.

Who this practice is for

This practice is especially well-suited for people who:

  • Are living with chronic pain or recurring physical discomfort

  • Are navigating hormonal changes, fatigue, or stress-related symptoms

  • Feel stuck between “nothing is wrong” and “nothing is improving”

  • Want care that looks for root causes, not quick fixes

  • Value collaboration, education, and realistic treatment planning

I work frequently with women’s health concerns and have a particular interest in hormone evaluation and specialty testing, including more in-depth options such as DUTCH hormone testing, alongside conventional laboratory assessment when appropriate.

Both in-person and virtual services are available, allowing care to meet people where they are, physically and practically.

A quiet invitation

This practice is not about doing more for the sake of doing more. It’s about doing what is appropriate, sustainable, and supportive for each individual body and life.

If you’ve been looking for care that feels thoughtful rather than rushed, collaborative rather than prescriptive, and grounded in both experience and evidence, you are welcome here.

This space was created with care — and I’m glad you found it.
